Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By accessing or using Humantix ("Service"), operated by Prontoo (Pty) Ltd ("we", "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. Description of service
Humantix is a cloud-based HR and payroll platform for South African employers. Features include payroll processing, leave management, loan tracking, employment contract generation, and an employee self-service portal. Tax calculations follow SARS guidelines for the applicable tax year.
3. Employer responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all employee data entered into the platform.
- You must obtain consent from employees before adding their personal information.
- You are responsible for submitting payroll to SARS and UIF using the data generated by Humantix. Humantix provides calculations as a tool; final responsibility for submissions remains with the employer.
- You must keep your login credentials secure.
4. Employee accounts
Employees access the platform via a one-time login link sent to their email address. These links expire after 15 minutes. Employees may only access their own records.
5. AI-generated content
Humantix uses Google Gemini AI to assist with generating employment contracts and job descriptions. AI-generated content is a starting point only. You must review all AI-generated documents before use and ensure they comply with applicable South African labour law. Humantix does not provide legal advice.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts.
- Upload malicious code or content.
- Resell or sublicense access to the platform.
7. Availability and support
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. Support is available at support@prontoo.co.za.
8. Intellectual property
The Humantix platform, including its design, code, and AI-generated templates, is owned by Prontoo (Pty) Ltd. You retain ownership of the data you upload. By using the platform, you grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the Service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Humantix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including errors in tax calculations, employment disputes, or data loss. Our total liability in any matter is limited to the fees paid in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
